Annie’s School is an authorised Calvert Education Centre. Our accredited curriculum delivers world-class learning in Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies â giving every child a strong academic foundation.
ð¬ Science
Students explore the natural world through hands-on experiments and inquiry-based learning. Topics span life science, earth science, and physical science, building curiosity and critical thinking.
ð English Language Arts
A comprehensive literacy programme covering reading comprehension, writing composition, grammar, and vocabulary. Students develop strong communication skills through structured and creative tasks.
ð Social Studies
Students discover history, geography, civics, and global cultures. The curriculum fosters empathy and a broader understanding of the world around them.
Grade 1 Programme
The Grade 1 curriculum introduces foundational academic skills through the Calvert framework. In Science, children explore living things, the environment, and simple physical concepts. In English Language Arts, students develop phonics, reading fluency, and beginning writing skills. In Social Studies, lessons cover family, community, and basic geography.
Grade 2 Programme
Building on Grade 1 skills, the Grade 2 curriculum deepens understanding across core subjects. Science moves into weather patterns, habitats, and matter. English Language Arts expands to chapter books, written expression, and grammar rules. Social Studies broadens to regional and world communities, history timelines, and map skills.
